Oilers, Taylor Hall Agree To Seven-Year Extension

Oilers GM Steve Tambellini announced Wednesday that the team has agreed to terms with forward Taylor Hall on a new seven-year contract extension.

The deal, according to Bob McKenzie of TSN, will pay Hall $6M per year.

The Red Wings on Tuesday signed 2011 second-round draft pick Tomas Jurco to a three-year, entry-level deal. The contract, according to Capgeek.com, is worth $709,167 per year. Jurco will likely join Detroit's AHL affiliate in Grand Rapids this season.
